Posh Spice in line for McLaren drive

XIX Entertainment, the company that manages Lewis Hamilton, has admitted that its people are talking to McLaren’s people who are, in turn, talking to Victoria Beckham’s people who are ironically the same people at XIX Entertainment who manage Lewis Hamilton, about the possibility of the ex-Spice Girl replacing the young Brit at McLaren next year.
Hamilton is said to be seriously considering a deal by Mercedes’ people who have offered Lewis Hamilton’s people £60 million for their client to drive for them. Hamilton’s people are said to be interested in the offer from Mercedes’ people because of the amount of bling Lewis will be able to buy with the money.
With all these people talking to each other, McLaren’s people contacted Simon Fuller, who manages lots of people through XIX Entertainment to enquire whether they had any other people worth talking to. Speaking to People Magazine, Fuller was quoted as saying. "Our people still haven’t come to an agreement with McLaren’s people about Lewis’ future. We have offered them Victoria Beckham as we are looking for a new avenue for her immense potential. We established long ago that a career in music isn’t for her because she is tone deaf. Modelling obviously isn’t for her because of her face and neither is fashion because the only people who can wear her clothes live in Ethiopia. And they don’t have any money. There is little need for coat stands these days so we thought perhaps a career in motor racing might suit her. Pastor Maldonado has proved that even monkeys can drive Formula 1 cars so we are speaking to McLaren’s people about the possibility of getting her in the car for 2013. She has a long history with the team because she sang at their launch in 1997 so we think this is a strong negotiating point."
Mrs Beckham was unavailable for comment as she was on holiday with her kids Harper Seven, Ben Folds Five, Nine Inch Nails and Level Forty-Two.
