Force India tell Marussia to piss off

February 2015

Force India have voted against Marussia entering the 2015 Formula 1 season because they want the team’s share of last year’s prize money. If Marussia enter, they will be entitled to lots of cash as a result of beating Sauber in the championship. If they do not enter, their prize money will be redistributed between the other teams. Because Force India’s Vijay Mallya is such a greedy, money-grabbing parasite, he believes his wallet is more important than the reputation of the sport.

“Quite honestly who wants to see Marussia on the grid anyway? I mean they are shit and trail around at the back of the grid like some kind of slug on wheels. And who the hell is that Max Chilton guy? He’s only on the grid because his dad is almost as rich as me and that’s no reason to be in Formula 1. No, much better I get more money so I can make more aeroplanes and beer.”

If Mallya gets his own way, there will only be 9 teams on the grid this year and with Sauber's future looking uncertain and the inevitability of McLaren being 20 seconds slower than everyone else because the pinnacle of motor racing’s rules state they aren't allowed to test, Formula 1 is looking in a sorrier state than Bernie Ecclestone's hair.
